SCG Muangthong United's core team have been called to represent Thailand in upcoming friendly matches with Myanmar and Kenya.
The highlight of the recent call ups is the return to the national team of Charyl Chappuis. Charyl's form has steadily improved, and he was impressive recently against Bangkok United, with key passing and two strikes on target.
In addition to Charyl, the Kirin players to represent Thailand are: Teerasil Dangda, Theerathon Bunmathan, Peerapat Notchaiya, Tristan Do, Kawin Thamsatchanan, Adisorn Promrak, Siroch Chatthong, and in his debut Prasit Padungchok (Kirin's #2 keeper).
The FIFA friendly matches are scheduled for October 5th in Myanmar, and then October 8th vs. Kenya, to be played at the SCG Stadium.
Head Coach of the Thai national team, Milovan Rajevac, recently attended the home match of SCG Muangthong United vs. Bangkok United, where no doubt he noticed the good form of many of the Kirin.
This match will also feature SCG Muangthong United's dynamic midfielder Chanathip Songkrasin, on loan to Consadole Sapporo in the J-League.
