SCG Muangthong United midfielder Sarach Yooyen has said that the national team have set their sights on being ASEAN champions in the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup, to earn this honour in respect and memory of his Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej.
A total of 23 players have been called to the training camp for the national team, 9 of them from SCG Muangthong United. The team will meet the press this Friday, October 28th, at the Emerald Hotel, 11 a.m., after which the squad will stay together throughout the preparations.
The national team will first play Australia on November 15th as part of the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifications. The ASEAN championships begin shortly after, the first game being November 19th vs. Indonesia. The competition will last through to December 17th.
