SCG Muangthong United - the DREAM TEAM 2016, continues to thrill fans with exciting news, the latest being the transfer of Adisorn Promrak to the club.
Adisorn plays centre back and moves to SCG Muangthong United from BEC Tero Sasana, where he’s played for the past two seasons. The 22 year old is also a member of Thailand’s national team, and this brings to 11 the number of national team players with Muangthong United.
Originally from Songkhla in southern Thailand, Adisorn began his football career with Buriram United’s youth team, before moving on to play for Army United at the age of 19. He them played two full seasons with BEC Tero Sasana before today’s transfer.
The new signing is the second national team player added to the roster, following the announcement in May that Theerathon Bunmathan was moving to the team after becoming a main stay of Buriram United. The addition of Theerathon and Adisorn means players will be competing for pitch time. This will be made a bit easier at the moment as central defender Naoaki Aoyama is out with an injury, though Mario Abrante’s recent contract extension mirrors the good form he’s been showing in the back line.
Theerathon, Addison, as well as Yaya Soumahoro, who joined the club recently, are eligible to play as soon as this Saturday, when SCG Muangthong United host Nakhon Ratchasima F.C. as the second half of the 2016 season gets underway.
