Attendance: 9,917

The MTUTD roster was stretched to the extreme in this home fixture with Saraburi FC. Coach Dragan Talajic decided to rest both Sarach Yuyen and Naoaki Aoyama due to both players having accumulated 3 yellow cards, and wanting to ensure they would be ready for the upcoming match with Buriram (Sat. Aug. 1).

Gulf Saraburi FC played with 10 players back on defense when MTUTD had the ball, and in the first half possession was dominated by the home club. Several key saves and defensive rescues from Gulf Saraburi, plus hitting the post frequently, meant the score was 0-0 at half time.

The second half opened with a quick goal from Mario Gjurovski as he took the center pass from Teerasil and caught the keeper off his line, chipping the ball in from 25 yards.

Shortly after the injury concerns began for MTUTD. A collision in mid-field meant Kim Dong Jin had to leave the game for the hospital room, with Sarawut subbed in.This proved prophetic as Sarawut added MTUTD's second goal later in the half.

Chananan was subbed off at the 62nd minute in order to preservie his form, with Kasidech coming in, however a few moments later team captain Datsakorn went down and required the stretcher, bringing in Seksit.

Then at the 76th minute Piyaporn blocks a shot and is injured in the process. MTUTD had now used all their subs and are reduced to 10 men for the remainder of the half and Thitipan dropped back to pick up the central defender role.
