SCG Muangthong United midfielder/forward Mario Gjurovski is now only the 7th player to have played in 100 matches for Muangthong United, following the 1-0 victory for MTUTD at Chainat.
To commemorate the occasion, a presentation will be held prior to the start of the match on Wednesday July 15th, at the SCG Stadium, against Ratchaburi F.C.
Mario Gjurovski joined MTUTD in the 2012 season, and he's now in his 4th year with the club. Over the 100 matches he's added 42 goals for the club, and was part of the 2012 squad that won the Premier League Championship.
Mario was born in Serbia in 1985 (he's 29), and has Macedonian citizenship. As a youngster he played for top level teams such as Red Star Belgrade, and eventually signed with clubs in the Serbian Super La Liga. He also played a season in the Ukraine before joining with MTUTD.
Mario's father is Milko Gjurovski, the current coach of Slovak team FC ViOn Zlaté Moravce. In 1984, was a member of the bronze medal winning Olympic team for Yugoslavia. Mario's uncle was also a professional footballer.
