SCG Muangthong United is now on a break while "The War Elephants," Thailand's National Football Team, compete in the 17th Asian Game - "Incheon Games 2014."
During the break, United is planning to improve their very own home stadium, the SCG Stadium, in various aspects. The plan is separated into two parts, which is fixing all the chairs that are defected or broken, and improving things such as re-decorating the VIP rooms, adding a tunnel to elongate the entrance - leading the players into the field, etc.
The aim is to not only have a modern look, but also making it safe and more organized. They are confident that the fans will be able to see the improvements with a new and beautiful perspective.
Kan Janrat, the team's general manager, added that, "During this break, we are not only trying to improve the team's skill on the field, but also planning to improve things outside the field concurrently. This time is to reach the modern standards and become more organized as much as possible for SCG MTUTD fans and the guest teams to have Box to make it more luxurious and interesting with style. Even more, we will be adding a tunnel to connect with the players' lockerroom for the players to walk through, in order to level up their safetiness. I hope that during this 1-month break for the Football Asian Games, fans will be able to see a stadium more beautiful than ever before."
Among the other improvements already finished, such as installing the LED A-board and scoreboard, we will also add VIP chairs in the E Section (around the middle of the stadium). As well, we will be changing the landscape around the stadium and imaking imrpovements in the S-ZONE.
