Place of Birth:
One SCG Muangthong United player who has first hand experience with World Cup action is defender/midfielder Lee Ho.
Lee Ho, aged 21, was part of the 23 man squad that played in the 2006 World Cup, under the direction of Dutch coach Dick Advocaat.
South Korea opened their campaign with a 2-1 win over Togo, followed by a 2-1 loss to France, and a draw with Switzerland to finish 3rd in the group.
Lee Ho played in all 3 games for South Korea, and competed with the likes of Thierry Henry, who along with France were to make the finals, losing to Italy on penalty kicks.
The experience of having played in the world cup, however, is invaluable, and Lee Ho was able to contribute to the successes of FC Zenit Saint Petersburg in 2006 and 2007.
Lee Ho joined with SCG Muangthong United 2017 from South Korean club Jeonbuk Hyundai.
