Jan. 31, 1993
Place of Birth:
Born in Paris on January 31st, 1993, Tristan Do trained at the elite INF Claireofintaine, the French national training centre that has helped produce the likes of Thierry Henri (Arsenal) and Louis Sala (Manchester United).
Entry into the academy was not easy, and Tristan was one of 24 selected from a group of 3000. Trisan trained along with some today's heroes of football such as Alphonse Areola (Paris Saint-Germaine), Jérôme Roussillon (Montpellier), Jérémie Bela (Dijon) and Raphaël Guerreiro (Borussia Dortmund).
At 16 years of age Tristan went on to continue his training in Strasbourg. Two years later, in 2011, RC Strasburg went into financial difficulty, and Tristan found himself free to transfer on. He headed in the direction of Ligue 1 club Lorient.
The Lorient adventure has an unfinished taste for Tristan. He was loaned out to Épinal in 2012-13 and then Gazélec Ajaccio, making 37 appearances and gaining the attention of some Ligue-2 teams.
All of this led to a key decision in 2014 - the BIG JUMP. With his father’s heritage calling, Thai football club BEC Tero Sasana got in touch to see if he'd be interested in playing with them.
"I needed to go and see, this was the best way to know," said Tristan. So the plane ticket is purchased and 15 hours later he's in Bangkok. There was to be no return flight.
Then, in 2016, he's signed by Thailand's most well know team, powerhouse SCG Muangthong United. He since won the Thai League championship and the League Cup trophy. With all the pitch time Tristan was getting he quickly was noticed by the league, and in 2015 he was given the call up to play for Thailand's U23, and he has a since acquired 24 caps and has anchored down the right back position with Thailand’s Men’s Team.
